ISLAMABAD – Honor has launched the Play20C, a budget smartphone with a secondary touchscreen on the rear. The phone shares much of its hardware with the Honor X5d s. It also appears to be a global version of the same device.

Design and display

The Honor Play20C features a 6.78-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 × 1576 pixels. The display supports refresh rates of up to 120Hz and offers 600 nits of typical brightness.

The rear panel has a 2.01-inch touchscreen beside the main camera. It can show quick information and provide controls for the camera. The phone is available in Forest Green, Sunrise Gold, and Midnight Black.

Internals and software

Most Play20C variants are powered by the Unisoc T610 chipset. The 4GB/128GB version instead uses the slightly different Unisoc T615.

The phone comes with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. A microSD card slot supports cards of up to 1TB.

The Play20C runs Android 16 Go Edition and supports 2G, 3G, and 4G LTE networks.

Cameras

The Play20C features a 13MP rear camera with autofocus, a 4x digital zoom and an LED flash. A 5MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

The rear touchscreen also serves a practical purpose. Users can use it to frame shots and take selfies with the main camera.
