ISLAMABAD – Pakistani cricket team legends Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan’s future remains uncertain, as whether or not they will come back to the Pakistani cricket team becomes a topic of debate. Recently, Aaqib Javed revealed the path the duo can take to make their way back.
During the PCB skills development camp, High Performance Director Aaqib Javed told reporters that both Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan received detailed feedback on areas for improvement. This is part of an ongoing initiative to modernize Pakistan’s approach in all formats.
The duo has faced ongoing criticism due to their cautious approach, especially as the game has evolved to a faster tempo recently. Their exclusion from the team has been attributed to their playing styles. Aaqib Javed has indicated that both players will need to demonstrate significant improvement to be considered for the T20 side in the upcoming tours of Bangladesh and the West Indies.
