ISLAMABAD – A 120-day tax-free mobile registration is now introduced for overseas Pakistanis on every visit to Pakistan by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

According to PTA, this service is available through its free, temporary mobile registration system, which is available on the DIRBS (Device Identification Registration and Blocking System) portal.

This move reflects PTA’s strong commitment to making digital services accessible for overseas Pakistanis during short stays.

However, PTA has confirmed that the claims of permanently waiving tax on imported mobiles are false and baseless.
