MUMBAI – Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has confirmed that he will marry partner Gauri Spratt next month, putting an end to speculation surrounding the couple’s relationship.

Speaking during a recent interview, the 61-year-old actor said the wedding would be a simple and private affair attended by close family members and a limited circle of friends.

“We want to keep the ceremony extremely simple and private,” Khan said, adding that the couple are scheduled to tie the knot on July 5.

The actor said he and Spratt, who have been in a relationship since late 2023, had decided to take the next step after carefully considering their future together.

Khan publicly confirmed his relationship with Spratt in March this year, ending months of speculation about the couple’s plans.

During the interview, the actor also spoke about the possibility of collaborating again with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, hinting at a potential project after his wedding.

Referring to the possibility of a sequel to the blockbuster film 3 Idiots, Khan said discussions had taken place but no final decision had been made.

“I don’t know exactly what Raju has planned, but all the characters have moved far ahead in life now,” he said. Khan said that he would focus on family celebrations before considering future film commitments.
