The visit marked the announcement of the brand’s strategic roadmap to expand the itel Home ecosystem to over 100 exclusive outlets nationwide, positioning itel as a one-stop “Smart Life” destination for Pakistani households.

The event, attended by senior leadership from itel and Advance Telecom, showcased itel’s evolution from a mobile-first brand to a holistic lifestyle partner. The itel Home concept introduces an interconnected ecosystem where technology meets everyday convenience, spanning smart home appliances, entertainment, accessories, and personal care.

Building a Nationwide ‘Smart Life’ Ecosystem

During an exclusive walkthrough, the leadership team shared how itel Home is creating a complete smart-life ecosystem for its customers. Each store is designed with dedicated sections for different needs, smart appliances, home security, entertainment, and everyday tech, making it easy for every type of customer to find what fits their home. The 100+ store expansion plan aims to take this accessible, affordable smart ecosystem to families across Pakistan.

Sajal toured the experience zones, exploring the diversity of the itel home portfolio. The showcase highlighted the brand’s versatility, featuring immersive audio systems, smart kitchen essentials like air fryers and blenders, grooming kits, and high-performance power accessories.

Danyal Zafar’s next drama to reunite Duniyapur writer-director duo

KARACHI – Actor and singer Danyal Zafar is set to headline a new television drama following his ongoing performance in Zanjeerein, where he plays the role of Sarbuland Khan.

Zafar, who made his television debut with the Ramadan special Taana Bana, has since appeared in dramas including Stand Up Girl and Farrar. His portrayal in Zanjeerein has drawn positive responses from viewers, with fans closely following developments in the series and anticipating his next project.

According to reports, the actor will star opposite Komal Meer in an upcoming drama currently under production. Meer, known for her performances in a number of television projects, recently took on a more challenging role in Goonj, a drama inspired by real-life events.

The new serial is being filmed in Nathiagali and is written by Radain Shah and directed by Shahid Shafaat. The project marks another collaboration between the writer-director duo, whose previous work on Duniyapur received widespread attention.

The drama is tentatively titled Raqaas and is expected to air on Green Entertainment.

LAHORE – Renowned Punjabi singer Tariq Tafu passed away in Lahore on Tuesday after a brief illness, marking a significant loss for the country’s music industry.

He was the son of legendary tabla maestro Tafu Khan, a celebrated figure in Pakistan’s classical music tradition who collaborated with several leading musicians over the course of his career.

Tariq Tafu built a successful career as a singer in his own right and was widely recognised for his popular track Lahore Lahore Aye, which became particularly associated with Lahore’s cultural celebrations and festive occasions.

The song, often played during local festivals, earned widespread popularity and became one of his most recognisable works among Punjabi music listeners.

According to family sources, the singer had been undergoing treatment for his condition prior to his death.

His passing has drawn condolences from across the music community, with fans and fellow artists expressing grief over the loss of a prominent voice in Punjabi music.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

KARACHI – Singer and songwriter Asim Azhar has reassured fans about his health after a photograph from a hospital setting circulating on social media sparked concern among followers.

The image, shared by the artist on Instagram Stories, showed him wearing a nebuliser mask with the caption “Welcome Back,” prompting widespread speculation and messages of concern from fans.

Addressing the situation in a subsequent post, Asim clarified that he is recovering from a throat infection and stressed that his condition is not serious.

He apologised for worrying his followers, adding that doctors had advised him to rest and reduce his workload following an exceptionally busy schedule.

The singer also expressed gratitude for the continued support from fans, saying the positive response to his recent releases, Arzoo and Tu Hai Wohi, had been encouraging during his recovery period.
