MECCA – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif performed Umrah on the night of Thursday and Friday, along with the members of the Pakistani delegation.
Army Chief Field Marshal General Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi, and Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar were in the Pakistani Delegation.
The Prime Minister prayed for the peace, progress, and prosperity of Pakistan. This Umrah was part of his official visit to Saudi Arabia.
He also prayed for the unity of the Muslim Ummah and the people of Gaza.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also meet with the Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman to discuss a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including bilateral cooperation, regional developments, and economic partnerships.
This high-level diplomatic visit of the Prime Minister to Saudi Arabia is expected to strengthen Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations.
