President Asif Ali Zardari not to be removed, clarifies Mohsin Naqvi

ISLAMABAD – Amid ongoing rumors regarding the removal of the President, Federal Minister of Interior Mohsin Naqvi has denounced the campaign launched against the Prime Minister, President, and the Field Marshal.

The Federal Minister took to a social media platform and clearly stated that the government is fully aware of who is behind it. The Interior Minister further added that the idea of the Army Chief assuming the Presidency does not exist, and no such discussion has taken place. He even went on to say that the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has a respectful and friendly relationship with the military.

Regarding the malicious campaign that has been launched, the Minister continued that he is fully aware of the entity behind the campaign, its purpose, and who will benefit from it.

He clarified the Army Chief’s stance on the matter and said that the Army Chief’s focus is nothing but making Pakistan strong and stable and those who are spreading this fake narrative can do anything they want by colluding with enemy forces of the foreign agencies, the Federal Minister concluded his statement by adding that the Pakistani leadership will focus on everything necessary to strengthen Pakistan.
