LAHORE – Chinese smartphone manufacturer vivo has started sales of its latest handset, the Y31d, in Pakistan, the company said on Friday.
The device is now available both in retail stores and online, with the company positioning it as an everyday smartphone focused on battery life, durability and consistent performance.
The Y31d features a 7,200mAh battery, which the company says is its largest to date. According to vivo, the handset can support up to 11.8 hours of continuous PUBG gameplay, 14.5 hours of navigation and as much as 45 hours of video playback on a single charge.
It also supports 44W fast charging. vivo said the charging system includes multiple safety mechanisms and real-time temperature monitoring to ensure stable performance. The company added that the battery is designed to retain at least 80 per cent of its capacity after 1,600 charge cycles.
In terms of durability, the smartphone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It also includes features such as wet-hand touch support, moisture detection and a water and dust ejection function.
The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 4G processor and runs on vivo’s OriginOS 6.0 operating system. It comes with a display offering up to 1,250 nits brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Y31d is available in three variants in Pakistan: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at Rs57,999, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage at Rs65,999, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage at Rs72,999.
According to the company, the phone comes with a one-year warranty, a 15-day replacement policy and a six-month warranty for accessories. The device is approved by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority and supports all local mobile networks.
As part of a promotional offer, users of Zong 4G can receive 12GB of free mobile internet over six months by inserting their SIM card in the primary slot.
