iPhone 17 Pro Max: What we know so far?

Published

on

CALIFORNIA – Apple is going to launch its latest and most powerful smartphone, iPhone 17 Pro Max, at its event, expected between 11 September and 13 September 2025. The phone will be available globally from September 19.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max is powered by Apple’s latest A19 Bionic chipset, which is a 3nm processor. This powerful and efficient processor is packed with 12 GB of RAM on the base variant, while last year’s iPhone 16 Pro Max’s base variant offers 8 GB of RAM.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max display is a 6.9” LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. There are no major upgrades in the display from last year’s Pro Max model. However, the display will have an upgraded version of Ceramic Shield protection.

Apple is also offering a vapour chamber cooling system for the first time. However, this feature has been available on many Android phones, but Apple has implemented it relatively late. This will help the iPhone 17 Pro Max manage excessive heat during heavy gaming and 8K video recording.

A sealed metal chamber in the system uses liquid that evaporates and absorbs heat, dispersing it more efficiently than traditional graphite sheets.

There are some improvements in the camera department, too. The selfie camera has been upgraded from a 12 MP sensor to a new 24 MP sensor, while the telephoto camera has also been upgraded to a 48 MP sensor.

With an updated design, camera setup and the new cooling system, iPhone 17 Pro Max is set to be a blockbuster in the smartphone industry. As we know, the previous year’s iPhone 16 Pro Max didn’t impress the users that much, but this year the iPhone 17 Pro Max will change the smartphone game.
