Coronavirus: Pakistan death toll reaches 1067, cases up to 49,972

LAHORE – Pakistan on Friday recorded 49,972 confirmed Coronavirus cases while the tally stands at 1067 for those who breathed their last owing to the pandemic.

The country has, however, recorded 15201 recoveries so far the most populous province Punjab, ruled by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, recorded the maximum number of cases.

Have a look at numbers of COVID-19 confirmed cases, recovered patients, and the death toll in Pakistan:

Total confirmed cases: 49,972

Punjab: 18455

Sindh: 19924

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 7155

Balochistan: 3074

Islamabad: 1326

Gilgit-Baltistan  &  AJK: 760

Deaths: 1067

Recovered: 15201
