KARACHI – A sessions court in Lahore on Tuesday reserved its decision on the interim bail applications of TikTokers Iqra Kanwal and Areeb in a case concerning the alleged promotion of an online gambling application.

Additional Sessions Judge Nusrat Ali Siddiqui heard the bail petitions, during which both accused appeared before the court and marked their attendance.

Counsel for the petitioners, Advocate Muhammad Saleem, presented arguments in support of the interim bail requests.

After hearing submissions from both the defence and the prosecution, the court reserved its verdict.

The case was registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), which has accused the two social media personalities of promoting an online gambling application.
