LAHORE – Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed has reached the top of the ICC T20I bowling rankings after the latest update, becoming the highest-ranked bowler in the format with 736 rating points.
The rise of Abrar Ahmed in ICC T20I rankings comes after consistent performances, helping him overtake Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, who has moved down to second position.
Australia’s Adam Zampa has climbed to third place in the latest rankings.
Pakistan Players Move in ICC T20I Rankings
Several other Pakistan players also recorded changes in the updated ICC rankings.
Mohammad Nawaz retained his position among the top bowlers, remaining eighth with 658 rating points.
Salman Mirza dropped one place and is now ranked 18th with 636 points, while Shaheen Afridi slipped one position to 33rd with 602 rating points.
Young spinner Usman Tariq made progress, moving up two places to 57th with 524 points.
Sufiyan Muqeem also improved his ranking, climbing one spot to 63rd with 510 points.
Saim Ayub moved up one place to 71st among T20I bowlers with 492 points, while Shadab Khan remained in 77th position with 485 points.
Fast bowler Haris Rauf gained two places and is now ranked 86th with 448 rating points.
Sahibzada Farhan Maintains Top T20I Batting Position
Pakistan’s batting rankings also saw movement, with opener Sahibzada Farhan maintaining his position among the world’s leading T20I batters.
Farhan remains third in the ICC T20I batting rankings with 848 rating points.
India’s Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma occupy the first two positions in the batting rankings.
Saim Ayub improved his batting ranking by two places and is now 39th with 560 points.
Former Pakistan white-ball captain Babar Azam also moved upward, gaining two spots to reach 41st position with 555 rating points.
Salman Ali Agha and Fakhar Zaman Retain Positions
Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha remains ranked 45th among batters with 547 points.
Fakhar Zaman retained his 72nd position with 481 rating points.
