LAHORE – In a shocking development, Careem has announced an end to its years-long ride service effective from 18 June 2025. ending its years-long presence in one of its largest markets. Careem gave out an official statement thanking its users for their support over all these years and acknowledged the difficulty of making this decision.
The statement issued by Careem cleared the users on how they will be refunded in case they still have balances in their digital wallets, saying that they would receive instructions soon on how to reclaim their funds. Furthermore, Careem Care will be active until 18th September 2025, to help users with any issues and questions.
