Many fans see Jean Grey as the new MJ, but the decision has upset Spider-Man fans, who believe only Zendaya should fill that role.
Although there is a big what-if in the Marvel world, MJ replied with “I don’t love you” when Spider-Man’s letter was exposed to her unknowingly. That alone can serve as future grounds for Spider-Man moving on from the current MJ.
