ISLAMABAD – Microsoft is preparing to launch a unified Copilot AI super app later this year, bringing together several artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities into a single platform for consumers and businesses.
Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella announced the plan during the company’s latest earnings call, saying the new application will combine chat, coding, Cowork and autonomous Autopilot features under one Copilot experience.
The company aims to simplify how users interact with AI by allowing them to access multiple capabilities without switching between separate applications.

Copilot to combine multiple AI experiences
The upcoming Copilot AI super app will integrate Microsoft’s existing AI tools into one application instead of offering them through separate services.
According to Nadella, the platform will include conversational AI, coding assistance, collaborative Cowork features and autonomous Autopilot capabilities.
The strategy reflects a broader industry trend in which AI companies are developing platforms capable of handling a wide range of tasks rather than functioning solely as chatbots.
Users will be able to communicate with AI, generate code and use AI agents from a single interface.

Microsoft already has a significant customer base through its Copilot products. The company said it currently serves approximately 30 million paid Copilot users across nearly 450 million business seats.
Although those figures remain below ChatGPT’s user base, Microsoft believes consolidating its AI services into one application could encourage wider adoption.
The company has continued expanding Copilot across Windows, Microsoft 365 and other products as competition in the AI sector intensifies.
