LAHORE – Apple’s first foldable iPhone has arrived in Pakistan, but its price may leave even dedicated Apple fans thinking twice.

The iPhone Duo price in Pakistan has climbed to nearly Rs15 lakh for the highest-end model, making the new foldable smartphone more expensive than some used cars available in the local market.

According to listings from TeleX, formerly known as Telemart, the PTA-approved iPhone Duo starts at Rs999,599 for the 256GB variant, while the 2TB model costs Rs1,479,599.

However, prices vary between retailers, with Apple’s authorized distributor Mercantile Pakistan announcing lower rates for the device.

iPhone Duo Price in Pakistan for All Storage Variants

The iPhone Duo is available in four storage configurations, ranging from 256GB to 2TB.

TeleX has listed all four versions as PTA-approved, with prices increasing significantly for higher storage options.

Latest iPhone Duo Prices in Pakistan

Storage Variant  TeleX Price  Mercantile Price
256GB  Rs999,599  Rs899,999
512GB  Rs1,079,599  Rs980,000
1TB  Rs1,239,599  Rs1,145,000
2TB  Rs1,479,599  Rs1,390,000

Prices as listed or announced on October 24, 2026. Mercantile prices reflect its local launch announcement. Actual retailer prices and stock availability may change.

The difference between the entry-level 256GB and top-end 2TB models at TeleX stands at Rs480,000.

Meanwhile, Mercantile Pakistan has announced a starting price of Rs899,999, making its entry-level offering nearly Rs100,000 cheaper than TeleX’s listed price.

Apple’s Foldable iPhone Costs More Than Some Used Cars

Perhaps the most surprising part of the iPhone Duo price in Pakistan is how it compares with the country’s used-car market.

At Rs1,479,599, the highest-end iPhone Duo is priced above some second-hand vehicles listed for sale in Pakistan.

For comparison, used-car listings in October 2026 included a 2017 Suzuki Mehran advertised for Rs14 lakh and several older Suzuki Cultus models priced considerably lower.

The comparison highlights the premium Apple is charging for its first foldable smartphone.

However, comparing a brand-new flagship smartphone with an older used car is not a direct measure of value. Their purposes, running costs and expected lifespans differ considerably.

Still, the comparison illustrates just how expensive premium smartphones have become for Pakistani consumers.

What Makes the iPhone Duo So Expensive

Apple officially unveiled the iPhone Duo on September 9, 2026, introducing its first book-style foldable smartphone.

Unlike conventional iPhones, the device opens to reveal a larger internal display.

The iPhone Duo features a 7.6-inch inner Super Retina XDR display alongside a 5.4-inch external screen.

Both displays support ProMotion technology, allowing users to enjoy smoother scrolling and animations.

The smartphone also features Apple’s A20 Pro processor, a titanium design and a dual-battery architecture.

Apple says the larger display is designed for multitasking, entertainment, gaming and productivity.

The device’s foldable design and new hardware make it one of Apple’s most significant smartphone launches in recent years.

Is the iPhone Duo PTA Approved in Pakistan

The iPhone Duo price in Pakistan also depends on the retailer and the registration status of the device.

TeleX advertises its listed models as PTA-approved, meaning they are intended for use with Pakistani mobile networks.

Meanwhile, Mercantile Pakistan has introduced the iPhone Duo through its authorised distribution network.

The company advertises PTA-approved devices along with a 12-month official Apple warranty.

However, buyers should verify the PTA registration status of the specific device they receive.

They should also confirm warranty coverage and obtain a proper purchase receipt.

iPhone Duo Availability Remains Limited

Although the iPhone Duo is available to order in Pakistan, immediate delivery is not guaranteed.

TeleX currently lists deliveries for the last week of November, despite advertising the smartphone as available for purchase.

The delay comes shortly after Apple’s international launch.

Pre-orders opened on October 16, while the first devices became available internationally on October 23.

Apple introduced the smartphone with a starting price of $1,999 in the United States.

Pakistani prices are considerably higher once local taxes, distribution costs and retailer pricing are taken into account.

Could the iPhone Duo Price in Pakistan Increase Further

Limited supplies have raised concerns about possible price increases in the coming weeks.

When newly launched devices attract strong demand, some retailers may adjust their prices according to stock availability and replacement costs.

However, there is no guarantee that iPhone Duo prices will increase.

Additional stock arriving through authorized distributors could also lead to greater competition and more attractive prices.

For now, the difference between TeleX and Mercantile’s announced prices suggests that buyers should compare available options before placing an order.

Should Pakistani Buyers Consider the iPhone Duo

The iPhone Duo price in Pakistan places Apple’s first foldable device firmly in the premium smartphone category.

Its main attraction is the ability to combine a conventional smartphone with a larger folding display.

For users interested in multitasking, entertainment and Apple’s latest hardware, the new design offers capabilities unavailable on conventional iPhones.

However, the high price may make the device less appealing to buyers who do not need a foldable screen.

Customers should also consider long-term durability, repair costs and warranty support when purchasing a first-generation foldable product.

Apple’s Most Expensive iPhone Enters Pakistan

The launch of the iPhone Duo marks a new chapter for Apple and its presence in Pakistan’s premium smartphone market.

With a 2TB model listed at nearly Rs15 lakh, the device has already attracted attention for its exceptionally high price.

Meanwhile, lower prices announced by Mercantile Pakistan provide another option for consumers interested in purchasing the device through authorized channels.

The iPhone Duo price in Pakistan could change as more units become available and retailers adjust their listings.

For now, buyers face an unusual choice.

They could spend nearly Rs15 lakh on Apple’s first foldable iPhone or use a similar amount to purchase a second-hand car.
