Dublin – The singer and songwriter Lana Del Rey has recently shared her views about the negative review of her concert in Dublin, Ireland.
The ‘Queen of Sadcore’ received some mixed reviews regarding her stadium tour in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Her fans were upset that the cost of the ticket was so high, but the setlist was too short.
Lana Del Ray’s last show in Dublin raised a big question mark as a journalist for the Irish Times went on to question the value of the singer’s show as he showed his disappointment in what he called a “bizarre”. He even went on to remark that maybe the ‘Queen of Sadcore’ isn’t suited for such a big venue and is better suited for a smaller one.
The publication’s reviews on Instagram were discouraging and filled with questions as many of her fans were disappointed in the chosen venue because according to fans the 14 songs from which five were from her unreleased country album and 2 were covers were not enough to justify the venue’s location as it was located far away and the cost of one ticket being placed at €100.
The ‘Video Games’ singer responded by saying that the fans were looking at the story from the wrong direction. However, Lana Del Ray didn’t add anything else in her remark.
Lana Del Rey, whose real name is Elizabeth Grant, began her tour in the U.K. and Ireland on June 23rd in Cardiff, Wales. She concluded the tour with two performances at Wembley Stadium over the weekend. The artist is preparing to release her 10th studio album, which has been renamed from “Lasso” to “The Right Person Will Stay.” The release date has not yet been confirmed.
