LAHORE – Pakistani cricket team former skipper, Babar Azam, signed a contract with Australia’s Big Bash League franchise, Sydney Sixers, and released a teaser with the right-hand Pakistani batter. The teaser shows Babar Azam’s kit while the franchise will announce the details of the agreement tomorrow.
A day earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) issued No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to several key players, including Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan, which allowed them to participate in various international leagues.
Babar Azam was granted an NOC to play in the Big Bash League from December 14 to January 28. Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan have also received NOCs for the same duration of time. Furthermore, Kashif Ali has been given the authorization to play for Kent County Cricket Club, while Mohammad Amir has been permitted to play for Essex County until July 18.
