Punjab announces important update regarding summer camps in schools

PUNJAB – Punjab Education Department recently announced that it is optional for students to participate in summer camps. Furthermore, it has also been clarified that no school can force the parents to send their children to school to attend summer camps or pay any related fees.

If parents do not send their children to summer camp, then no school is allowed to force them to pay any fee or send their children to school during summer vacations.

The department has fixed a particular timeframe for summer camps. These camps will run from June 16 to July 15, 2025. It has been announced that schools can only conduct summer camp classes during the given time and dates, and no additional fees or charges should be charged to parents outside of the summer camp duration.
