Harvey Weinstein accused of sexual assault by Crystal McKinney

Published

on

New York – According to reports, Crystal McKinney, the accuser of ‘Diddy’, has sued Harvey Weinstein for sexual assault. McKinney, known for ‘What Women Want’, accused Harvey Weinstein, an American film producer and convicted sex offender, of sexually assaulting her and a friend at a hotel in New York City in 2003. According to documents acquired by a news outlet.

The lawsuit was first filed anonymously on 28 February. It stated that a modelling company executive had arranged for a meeting for McKinney. According to the complaint registered, the meeting was arranged under the pretence of discussing a potential business opportunity, and that she would be allowed to “make it big”.

The actress alleged that the executive made a wild comment that the actress should “f**k him until he puts her in a movie but she didn’t take too much of a notice to his comment as she was keenly looking forward to working with the biggest producer in Hollywood.

However, Weinstein’s lawyer said that the film producer denies any claims made against him by Crystal McKinney. Furthermore, the lawyer said that the complaint was suspiciously made at a time when she is going up against Sean Diddy Combs. The lawyer added that his client is ready to refute those claims and defend them, which he believes has an opportunistic motive.

It is pertinent to mention that McKinney had previously sued Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in May 2024 for sexually assaulting her at the Men’s Fashion Week event in 2003.

LAHORE – According to some sources, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is set to launch an operation targeting users who flaunt their wealth on social media.

As reported, the FBR has gathered data on roughly 100,000 high-net-worth individuals. Sources also indicate that non-filers who splurge on weddings will be under the microscope. The authority has obtained information on individuals who flaunt their lavish lifestyles online, including large homes, high-end vehicles, jewelry, and other assets.

Furthermore, people wearing expensive suits at weddings will be brought under the tax net. FBR will now require such individuals to declare their assets and sources of income.

The tax authority will compare income tax returns submitted last year with those filed this year. If the tax declarations do not show an increase that aligns with noticeable spending and displays of wealth, actions will be taken against those individuals, according to sources.
