LAHORE (Web desk) – Singer-turned-actor Ali Zafar has appealed the government to lockdown country in wake of coronavirus pandemic as the situation is worsening every day.

“The need for lockdown is necessary to tackle the spread of Corona,” the actor said in a video shared on his Twitter handle.

On Pakistan resolution day can we come to a resolution that we must work in unity in such challenging times? An ode. Hope you like it. Jaan De Den Ge | Ali Zafar | Pakistan Day | New Release | 23rd March https://t.co/S60hFFqiEx #PakistanUnitedAgainstCorona #PakistanResolutionDay

“We have two examples right in front of us, China and Italy – the measure China took has helped the country stop the spread of Corona whereas in Italy apart from the recent lockdown, the virus had widespread effect amongst the population with the death toll surpassing China,” the actor added.
