LAHORE – Descon Engineering Limited has completed the manufacturing of two steam generation packages for a greenfield gas processing project in the United Arab Emirates, with the equipment set to be exported from Pakistan.
According to the company, the packages include boiler skids, feed water skids and chemical dosing skids featuring plug-and-play technology. The equipment was fully engineered and manufactured at Descon’s production facility in Pakistan and will support operations at the UAE project through its commissioning phase.
The company said the project demonstrates Pakistan’s ability to manufacture high-specification engineering equipment for international energy markets while meeting global quality and safety standards.
Descon said the export is expected to contribute to Pakistan’s industrial exports and foreign exchange earnings as the country seeks to expand its engineering manufacturing footprint abroad.
Commenting on the development, Descon Engineering Chief Executive Officer Taimur Saeed said the successful delivery reflects the expertise of the company’s manufacturing team and highlights Pakistan’s capability to produce engineering equipment for international energy projects.
Descon has executed several projects across the Middle East for energy sector clients. The company operates under internationally recognised ASME certifications and ISO-compliant quality systems.
Its manufacturing division produces process equipment, modular systems and engineered skid packages for the oil and gas, petrochemical and power industries.
