CALIFORNIA – Google has rolled out scheduled actions support for Gemini. This feature is available in the Gemini app and will allow users to streamline routine tasks or receive personalized updates.
Now we can perform a specific task at a specific time, or convert a prompt into a recurring action. A new Scheduled Actions page has been added to the settings, where we can manage these scheduled actions.
We can now wake up with a summary of our calendar, unread emails, or have Gemini write ideas for our blog every week, or get updates on our favourite sports team, or ask Gemini to give a summary of an award show the day it happens, and much more.
But make sure there is a drawback here, these scheduled actions are only available to those users who have been subscribed to Google AI Pro or Ultra, as well as “qualifying Google Workspace business and education plans”.
