LAHORE – TECNO has launched the Spark 50 Pro in Pakistan at Rs74,999, with the smartphone offering a 6,000mAh battery, 60W fast charging and a 50MP Sony camera.
The new smartphone is available from September 10 through TECNO’s authorised retail network across the country.
Battery and charging
The TECNO Spark 50 Pro comes with a 6,000mAh battery paired with 60W Super Charge technology.
According to TECNO, the battery can be charged from zero to 100pc in around 55 minutes. The company says a single charge can support up to 43.6 hours of WhatsApp voice calls, 13.99 hours of YouTube streaming, 9.54 hours of TikTok use or 8.49 hours of PUBG gameplay.
TECNO says the battery is rated for more than 1,900 charging cycles while retaining over 80pc of its capacity.
The phone offers Super Charge, Smart Charge and Low-Temp Charge modes. It also includes AI Charging Protection, which can limit charging to 80pc based on usage patterns. Users can manually set a charging limit between 80pc and 95pc through Custom Charging Protection.
Water and drop protection
The Spark 50 Pro carries IP68 and IP69 certifications.
TECNO says the device can withstand immersion in water to a depth of six metres for up to 30 minutes. The phone is also rated for high-pressure water jets at temperatures of up to 80°C and offers full dust protection.
The company further says the smartphone has received SGS Five-Star Premium Drop certification, including testing involving drops from 1.2 metres and an extreme drop test from 1.8 metres.
Camera
The smartphone features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main camera with Fast PDAF.
TECNO says its AI RAW 2.0 technology is designed to improve image consistency in different lighting conditions, including daylight, backlight and night photography.
The phone also includes FlashSnap, which the company says can capture images with a shutter speed of up to 1/10,000 of a second.
Other camera features include BestMoment, which selects sharper frames, and LivePhoto, which records 1.5 seconds of footage before and after the photograph is taken. An 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
Performance and software
The TECNO Spark 50 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate chipset.
TECNO says the smartphone scores more than 550,000 points on AnTuTu and can support PUBG at up to 60 frames per second and Free Fire at up to 90fps.
The device has a 6.78-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
It ships with Android 16 and includes TECNO’s AI features, including the Ella assistant, FlashMemo, MindHub and AI Writing.
FlashMemo can create structured notes from screen content or voice input, while MindHub is designed to provide a searchable personal knowledge base. AI Writing can assist with tasks such as emails, reports and assignments.
Price and availability
The TECNO Spark 50 Pro price in Pakistan is Rs74,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The smartphone is available from September 10 through TECNO’s authorised retailers nationwide. It is offered in four colours: Ink Black, Titanium Grey, Dynamic Orange and Midnight Blue.
