Boxer Aliya Soomro to get Rs 4.7million from Sindh government for her next fight in Dubai

KARACHI – The Sindh government has allocated Rs4.7 million to support boxer Aliya Soomro for an international tournament in Dubai this August, where she will compete against an Indian opponent.

The 19-year-old Lyari native expressed to the media that the sponsorship from Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah was a “dream come true.” She mentioned that her opponent’s name would be confirmed a week before the event.
