Pakistan’s coronavirus cases reach 148,921 death toll soars to 2839

LAHORE – Pakistan on Tuesday recorded 148,921 confirmed Coronavirus cases while the tally stands at 2839 for those who breathed their last owing to the pandemic.

The country has, however, recorded 56,390 recoveries so far the most populous province Punjab, ruled by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, recorded the maximum number of cases.

Total confirmed cases: 148,921

Punjab: 55878

Sindh: 55581

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 18472

Balochistan: 8327

Islamabad: 8857

Gilgit-Baltistan  &  AJK: 1806

Deaths: 2839

Recovered: 56390
